Alexandria is a city unlike any other in Egypt.
It combines a rich history with the relaxed atmosphere of the Mediterranean coast, creating a unique character that continues to inspire visitors from around the world.
Whenever I walk along the Corniche and look out across the sea, I am reminded why Alexandria has fascinated travellers, scholars and dreamers for centuries.
I love Alexandria not only for its beautiful coastline and fresh sea air, but also for its remarkable heritage. The Bibliotheca Alexandrina, the Citadel of Qaitbay and the Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa all tell the story of a city where cultures have met and exchanged ideas for thousands of years.
As a guide, I enjoy showing visitors both the famous sites and the hidden corners of Alexandria. Small cafés, local markets and everyday life along the waterfront often create the most memorable experiences.
My hope is that every visitor discovers not only the history of Alexandria, but also its warm spirit and timeless charm.
